NOTICE OF EXTENDED APPLICATION DEADLINE

UNSCHEDULED VACANCY – BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES

The Glendora City Council has extended the application deadline for an unscheduled vacancy on the Board of Library Trustees, Office No. 2, with an unexpired term ending June 30, 2027.

ABOUT THE BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES

The Board of Library Trustees provides strategic leadership and serves as a creative catalyst in shaping the mission, values, and vision of the Glendora Public Library. The Board consists of five members, each serving a three-year term.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

  • Be registered to vote in the City of Glendora

  • Reside within the incorporated city limits for the entire term of service (GMC, 2.32)

HOW TO APPLY

Applications and additional information are available:

  • Online at www.cityofglendora.gov

  • In person at City Hall – City Clerk’s Office
    116 E. Foothill Boulevard, Glendora, CA
    Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except holidays)

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Completed applications must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office no later than 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

INTERVIEWS

It is anticipated that interviews will be scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, 2025, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Interviews will be conducted in person so please plan accordingly.
