Workshop 3 - Funding Options & Next Steps (September 15) The final workshop explores how to pay for the infrastructure and facility work needed in Glendora — including grants, land sales, and debt issuance. This workshop will also explore the possibility of establishing a citizen’s advisory committee, and the role they may play.

Free Tire Recycling Event

Recycle your used tires!

This is a FREE event, there are no costs to the City or its residents to participate. The event is designed to provide a convenient and environmentally responsible way for residents to dispose of unwanted tires.

Citrus College will be the host site for a FREE tire recycling event on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the S2 parking lot.

Glendora Adopts Modernized E-Bike Ordinance to Enhance Public Safety

On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, the Glendora City Council introduced Ordinance No. 2098 for first reading and voted unanimously to adopt the companion resolution for a comprehensive update to the City's Municipal Code governing electric bicycles (e-bikes), electric scooters, skateboards, bicycles, roller skates, and other motor-assisted mobility devices.

Planned Mosquito Control Treatments

San Gabriel Valley Mosquito & Vector Control District will be conducting residential mosquito control treatments via a truck in City of Glendora to reduce the number of mosquitoes and the risk of mosquito-borne disease in the community.

Lone Hill Improvement Project - Traffic Advisory

Published on August 18, 2026

Street rehabilitation is anticipated to begin next week (August 24th), and will include grind and overlay of new pavement, new striping, and traffic signal improvements. Traffic will intermittently be impacted during construction, with lane closures and including temporary on/off ramp closures.
