Get up close with California's native bumble bees! Conservation biologist Leif Richardson, who leads the California Bumble Bee Atlas for the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, will introduce us to bumble bees, their ecology, and conservation needs. We’ll learn to catch and handle these important pollinators, and how to help them through participating in the Bumble Bee Atlas community science project.
Registration is required!
