NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chamber of City Hall, 116 E. Foothill Boulevard, Glendora, California, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. to receive and consider all evidence and reports relative to a draft ordinance amendment.

The proposed ordinance is an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Glendora amending Title 21 (Zoning) of the Glendora Municipal Code to update regulations governing accessory dwelling units, junior accessory dwelling units, and SB 9 units in compliance with state law.

All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing and express their views on this matter.  Should you be unable to attend the public hearing, your testimony must be made in writing and delivered prior to the scheduled hearing date as follows: City Clerk Department, 116 E. Foothill Blvd, Glendora, CA, 91741, City_Clerk@cityofglendora.gov.

Further information on this item will be posted to the city’s website at CityofGlendora.gov/citymeetings and will be on file for public inspection and copying for the cost of duplication, at the office of the City Clerk, 116 E. Foothill Blvd, Glendora, CA, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays, within those hours for agenda posting and public inspection as required by the Ralph M. Brown Act, California Government Code 54950 et seq. as applicable to this meeting.

Staff has determined that the proposed ordinance is not subject to, and exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21080.17, Government Code Sections 65852.21(k) and 66411.7(n), and CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), because it implements state ADU, JADU, and SB 9 law and consists of amendments to development standards and administrative procedures required to conform the City’s regulations to state law..
