Safe Streets Program

Glendora's Safe Streets Program seeks to improve road safety and encourage active transportation by use of signage, demonstration projects, quick-build projects, and street closures.

To apply for your street to be considered:

  • Review the Safe Streets Ordinance and Policy
  • Complete application packet, including petition signature page
  • Email completed application packet to: 
    • transportation@cityofglendora.gov
    •  Subject Line: ‘Safe Streets Application: (your street name)’

Applications will be reviewed by the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee and city staff will update the applicant once a determination is made.

Country Club Drive

To address traffic and safety concerns on Country Club Drive, signage was installed throughout the area to highlight the frequent presence of pedestrians, encourage safer driving behavior, and increase overall awareness.

Minnesota/Foothill Crosswalk Demonstration

This quick-build demonstration project is designed to showcase potential street safety improvements. As a temporary installation, it allows the City to observe roadway user behavior and evaluate bicycle and pedestrian safety before considering any permanent enhancements.

Installed: December 2025

Location: Adjacent to the La Fetra Senior Center, crossing Foothill Boulevard at Minnesota Avenue.
